Dates are imperfect and missing some years.
∞ The creatures form networks which support the upward developmental progress of the environmental cogniscium; that is to say, the unified field of biorelational history, intention, effort, activity and circumstances of the living beings of Earth. These networks are intended as launch paths for nonordinary developmental ‘leaps’ — sudden accelerations in growth, potential, learning, and access to opportunity.
∞ In deeply honoring another being — or living place — suddenly, one’s humanity is invited into a context worthy of its real scope and possible excellence.
“Here’s to those ‘friends’ who take your abject interior misery as an intentionally composed personal insult for which they ceaselessly assault you until you finally flee in hopes of finding somewhere to die alone.”

“Everything went absolutely wrong over ‘the holidays’. It was like some bizarre cascade of miniature apocalypses were fighting each other to cram their way through the hallway of the last 15 days of December.
I am not even going to list the disasters. My own teeth began to assault various soft tissues within my mouth at random intervals while I suffered the ten plagues of Egypt in repetitive sequences. I took myself out to an expensive restaurant only to be infected with bubonic plague by the young woman making my salad.
I swear that time actually ran backwards in order that I might re-suffer, retrospectively, disasters of my history in fresh newly-minted hells that assailed me with a passionate remorselessness previously unimaginable to me.
A friend lent me their car, and every single night some new nightmare organism invaded it. Bats. Frogs. Centipedes. Scorpions. Ants. Wasps. Leeches. Bedbugs. Rats. And five things I cannot even name. Also: it threw a ‘coolant leak’ that required I negotiate the five of the 12 circles of hell to resolve.
I cannot believe I survived the tangled, mangling death-grip of the past 16 days. Frankly, most of me wishes I hadn’t, because now I’m going to be having nightmares about them for the rest of my ridiculous life, or rather, the self accelerating dance of my slow and lethal desiccation.”

∞ “The verbal and visual cliches on common offer and replication in the media are the approximate analog of viral intelligence assaults. They replace what might have been seeking, learning, and realization… with pithy phrases and ‘insightful’ quips. Not only are these useless, they are violations; and each repetition of the program lowers the bar and future possibilities for those involved and their relational cohorts. The processes that form minds and intelligences are easily inhibited by culture; but if you can convert the common populace to attack themselves, they can be effectively prohibited altogether — by replacement with ‘popular’ counterfeits.”

∞ The truest forms of love are nothing like our ideas; they are eyes divine, wings of seven ways of flight, a shield inviolate, a sword of dire fierceness, a shelter exquisite. In truest love the powers of the sky are alive, and the powers of all of the hearts of the living beings sing eternally. The truest forms of love, within our hearts… are unstoppable. There is no force that can oppose or resist them. Even death reveres their art.
∞ “The virtues, beyond all imaginable excellences, are naked and simple in their natures. Their counterfeits, however, are found well-costumed for the market, the battlefield and the places where power’s lethal opposite collects in the minds that have become the vehicles of its dire contagions.”

∞ “Everyone who isn’t stupid knows that driving while drunk is deadly and irresponsible. Similarly, if you make guns a priority among desperately confused, poorly educated impoverished mobs, you will get crises.
But driving an entire nation while utterly stupid… that produces atrocity, all day, every day, in new ways that start out invisible, and often cannot even be amended once discovered. Driving a nation stupid should be “the most against the law thing of all”, because it kills living places forever and thousands if not tens of thousands of people each day. And it ruins our minds, and their possibilities. It obliterates rational communion, learning, discovery and anything resembling human intelligence. By counterfeiting them.”

∞ “We have a priority problem that goes to the roots of our abject failure to establish anything like human intelligence, progress … or civilization. And it looks a lot like feverishly attending every representation of progress or heroism… while doing and becoming the opposite. Powerless spectators at the decimation of a world. Opinionated objectors. ‘Spirit’ delusion.
Our problem is simple: our ‘societies’ and their components are intentionally unaware of the purposive nature of life on Earth and how deadly our failure to develop anything like intelligence actually is. On the other side of that coin lies our actual potentials. Face down in the soil of our addiction to passive ‘spectator’ status.
Today, at least 1,000,000 people spent 6 hours watching a baseball game. That’s 6 million hours we spent watching sweating primates beat a representational enemy — that didn’t even exist.
What could we do with 6 million man-hours… that isn’t baseball… but is, instead… »what baseball represents: the mutually heroic pursuit of otherwise impossible excellence for a purpose as noble and true as it is human and self-correcting.
A purpose like our planet.”
