∞ “*God as a series of singularities produced at climactic wave-phases of the evolution of intelligence as timespace. In this model, the evolutionary ‘pulse’ would be accompanied at its highest points, by ‘singularities’ that effectively and suddenly unified minds, bodies and intelligences across timespace, and allowed them to ‘see and speak, know and develop, as one organism’.
These singularities would grow more pronounced and profound with each pulse, with living planets acting like compressive accumulators wherein the entire range of the effects of these processes could be established and co-evolved in living beings as their evolutionary arcs and minds.
The birth of human consciousness would mark a local climax of the entire series of locally expressed events, and would account for its inescapable association with the divine.
Another aspect of this model is that the ‘cause’ could actually be ‘the final singularity, transtemporal’ or… the most accessibly advanced »future state of the entire series of processes… in simple terms, evolution is from the past, intelligence is time ‘talking backwards to itself as organisms (and minds)’.”
— basically, yes.
∞ Language is the mark of humans telling reality what to be, do, and mean. It seems obvious to me why there is only one creature that apparently uses formally representational language here.
Insight is language’s ‘lost compliment’, whose appearance forces language to become beholden to wisdom and measure. I do not here indicate the measure of metrics or statistics, but rather the measures that arise as comparisons to the -sources- of beauty, truth, and meaning.
Language wants to become this measure, but the local presence of insight causes rebellious representational paradigms to obey their sources.
∞ Can we do it? is the wrong question to guide technological development.
Should we do it? is closer, but fraught with deadly danger.
Both positions are backwards.
Intelligence begins with relation and purpose.
When those are discarded in favor of do-ability or should-ness… hell is the necessary result.
We do not have intelligent consensus and what we call purpose is a clusterfrack of competing fictions and the small-voiced intruders that barely represent our dissent, let alone any form of actual mutual intention. This is also backwards.
Intelligence begins with purposive mutual relation. If the beginning is missing, false, or forcibly delimited, it transforms into a signal. That signal is emergency.
Was listening today to the following debate. I find both minds interesting, and though Peterson is often reviled, I really enjoy his mind. As Eric Weinstein says, ‘I don’t go into a restaurant and order the entire menu’. Same with JP. I learn all kinds of things from listening to him.
But I often find it perplexing that those who argue for the existence of God seem to miss an argument that seems to me powerful; it goes something like this…
You know nothing of your cells, and little of your organs. Yet there is a supervenient consciousness ‘above’ them, which is your mind/awareness/consciousness. Surely you will admit this much, and, if you will, then you can also see that among the orders of scale in nature, there absolutely exist other supervening aspects of the universe such as the Sun (without which there would be no arguments whatsoever, and no minds, at least around here). So if your own mind ‘hovers above and within your body’, why should it be necessarily true that there is no Origin of similar, but perhaps universal, supervenience?

In our modern temporal ontologies, we have a problem. It’s similar to the problem we may have had with the idea that the world is flat. We measure time as if there’s only a single world line or light cone, which is impossible (and conceptually disabling).
Einstein, in unifying space and time, and in his description of ‘world-lines’, should have led us into an entirely novel and astonishing temporal ontology. Yet, this project failed, primarily because we were interested in Energy (weapons and technologies) more than time.
Biologies such as those native to our world create vastly complex biotemporal hyperstructures in timespace. Organisms can be usefully understood as ‘special modes of timespace’. In this walk and talk I discuss these issues in some depth, and present models that can aid us in leaving the ‘one world line’ (flat) temporal onotologies we are both accustomed to and trapped within.
This recording follows my work in two recent essays which I link below for those interested.

∞To go away.
I had books on it.
They never mattered.
We caught fire together.
In our mouths.
Exchanged stars.
Like kisses.
Nothing.
Right?
Nothing wasn’t lost.
A continuum of keys.
Lightning.
Took us.
Home.

In which, events that, to rationally-minded others would often — and in fact… »do, seem entirely absurd… are intrinsically adventurous.
( Our current situation … let me suggest, responds well to creativity. And so … do aspects of our minds and intelligences… that languish in structured transactions. )
I might be out for a walk. Or I have some transaction-mission out in the metropolis structure. But I take with me a … perspective… that’s looking for a mystery, an adventure… a portal … beyond the structure.
And when one is in experience this way, half-playfully, yet passionately… well, no one can declare the results. But the space expands in ways otherwise impossible, often profound, and… well, sometimes… »exceptionally minute ways.

There is an old sciend fiction story called ‘The Magic Goes Away’ which tells of a world that alternates between epochs of magic and technology. I raed it when I was young. The modern world appears to be in a not entirely dissimilar situation, in that, we are learning to see beyond the myths of a reductivist ‘dead inside’ cosmology. But the old demons of mimicry, technique, insanity and deception are still with us. In this walk and talk I explore the topics that orbit our present circumstances, and the notable differences between deception (i.e stage magic) and actual faculties which have long been part of our nature, but have long been denied by the mechanistic/reductivist world image.
The ‘Living Waters’ (timespace) is, for me, the physical and transcendental ‘body’ of the hyperlogue of its mother in the Origin world. In our experience, timespace is the first instance of this principle/being, and physical water is the consumation of her properties.
Light is the compliment of this water, in Origin, timespace, and physical existence.
In this walk and talk I explore my terrestrial experiences of the incredible beauty and transentient aspects of the interplay of light, water, insight, wisdom… and dreaming.
